Refund Policy

All returns are subject to approval by Zendo Solar and are accepted only under the following conditions.

1. Return Conditions
Returns are considered case-by-case. To initiate the return process, you must contact Zendo Solar by emailing support@zendosolar.com. Provide a detailed description of the issue and include photos or videos of the product. Only upon review and confirmation by Zendo Solar can a return be authorized.

2. Return Eligibility for New and Unused Products
  1. Condition Requirements 
     • Products must be in their original, unused condition.  
     • All accessories, packaging, and checklists must be intact and included.

  2. Restocking Fee and Shipping Costs 
     • A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returns.  
     • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.  

  3. RMA Label and Return Process  
     • Upon return approval, Zendo Solar will provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) label.  
     • The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

  4. Refund Processing 
     • Refunds are issued within 3-7 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned item to confirm it meets eligibility criteria.  

3. Return Policy for Used and Installed Products
All return requests for used or installed products require a mandatory technical support session. Contact support@zendosolar.com to initiate this process. The product must be fully functional, with all original packaging and accessories intact, and must pass an inspection to confirm it is in resalable condition.

Returns for used or installed products are subject to a 12% restocking fee.
Customers are liable for all costs associated with the return.


4. Return and Restocking Fees
Unshipped Orders: 12% restocking fee if canceled after processing.
Shipped Orders: A 20% fee applies if the item has shipped prior to cancellation, as well as liability for all return shipping costs.
Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping costs in all cases, including exchanges.


5. International Returns
International returns, including those from Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories, may involve additional handling and shipping fees. Zendo Solar is not liable for customs, duties, or brokerage fees. International customers must first receive return authorization from Zendo Solar, and returns sent without approval will not be accepted. Any items determined to be defective upon delivery may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. RMA Process
Zendo Solar provides technical support to assist with product issues and initial troubleshooting before an RMA is issued. To begin this process, email support@zendosolar.com. Our technical support team may request images, system setup information, and other documentation to facilitate diagnosis. If technical support cannot resolve the issue, Zendo Solar will issue an RMA, and you will receive a return label and instructions.

Products sent back without an approved RMA will not be accepted. Once the item is received, it will be inspected by our team, who will determine the next steps and contact you with results.

7. Warranty Information
Zendo Solar does not provide direct warranties. Warranties are solely handled by the manufacturer; refer to each product’s page for warranty details. We strongly recommend that only licensed professionals handle the installation of our equipment to ensure both safety and regulatory compliance.

Zendo Solar will assist in warranty communication but is not responsible for damages resulting from installation, environmental exposure, mishandling, or improper maintenance. Warranty claims may be denied if:

• The product has been tampered with, disassembled, or modified.
• Damages are due to external factors such as lightning, fire, or flooding.
• The serial number has been removed or altered.

8. Cancellations and Refunds
Order cancellations are accepted only for unshipped items. Contact support@zendosolar.com to initiate a cancellation. Orders canceled after processing but prior to shipment will incur a 12% restocking fee. If the order has shipped, it is considered final, and the customer will be responsible for a 20% fee upon return, along with all associated return shipping costs.

Zendo Solar offers exchanges, store credits, and refunds to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 3-7 business days once the returned item has been received and inspected by our team.

9. Custom Orders
Custom and made-to-order products are non-cancelable and non-refundable after production has begun. For questions about custom orders, contact us before placing your order.

10. Shipping Times
Estimated shipping times are provided for your convenience and are subject to change due to external factors. Delays are possible and outside the control of Zendo Solar.

11. Customer Responsibilities and Agreement
By purchasing from Zendo Solar, you agree to:

• Inspect your order upon delivery, document any damage, and report it within 24 hours.
• Be liable for the costs of return shipping and the costs of shipping replacement products.
• Return products unopened and unused when eligible for a refund, subject to a restocking fee.
• Understand that estimated shipping times are subject to change and do not warrant a chargeback or refund.


12. Chargeback Prevention and Fraudulent Chargebacks
Zendo Solar strives to provide transparent policies to facilitate fair returns and refunds. Should you experience a legitimate issue, please contact support@zendosolar.com to allow us to resolve the matter amicably.

Filing a fraudulent chargeback claim is considered theft, and Zendo Solar will take all necessary legal action to recover losses from fraudulent chargebacks, including reporting the claim to authorities. By placing an order, you agree to use our support channels and abide by our return policies before initiating any chargeback request.

13. Damages Upon delivery, please inspect your package. Note and photograph any damage, and report it within 24 hours to support@zendosolar.com for assistance with an insurance claim. Damage reported outside this timeframe may not be eligible for coverage.
